The millionaire owner of the UK Segway company has died after apparently riding one of his company's motorised scooters off cliffs and into a river.
A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed Mr Heselden's identity.
She said: "Police were called at 1140 yesterday to reports of a man in the River Wharfe, apparently having fallen from the cliffs above."
She said a "Segway type" vehicle had been recovered.

I've seen whole groups of Segways in DC. They have clubs that just ride Segways in the city smiling like self-satisfied douchebags the whole time. They look like the same people that drive their hybrid cars to bicyclist meetups.

I rode a Segway once, you have to lean back and forward to make it stop/start. I don't think they are so safe without some kind of hand controls.
I've been waiting to see some tourist fuck themself up on one in DC and sue everyone.

I rode a Segway before. They aren't hard to control. I wouldn't be surprised if home chicken had a heart attack causing him to cruise off the cliff.
