Donald Trump is president of the United States, but Nancy Pelosi is Speaker of the House. She has a more recent electoral mandate and a much stronger one than Trump has. If we are to rally around our country the shit hurled at Pelosi and the Democrats in the House needs to stop as well. In a thread devoted to unity the first two responses were by Trump supporters attacking Democrats.
It isn't just that Pelosi and House Democrats need to work with Trump. It is also that Trump has to work with Pelosi and House Democrats.

As far as I’m concerned, we are at war. Not only that, we are at war with an unseen enemy who cannot bargained with, cannot be bombed and cannot be defeated unless we all cheer on the team for the big win.
