But James Alex Fields is still in prison for a traffic accident - during a college town "city wide party" thrown after a statue was deemed legally removed by college town democrat council

Judge's decision was based on Virginia Code Section 15.2-1812. What the general assembly enacts, they can repeal. Given current trends, that should take about one more election.

Have patience. The day is coming soon that Virginia will stop honoring traitors.

Don't make me laugh about lawsuits. General assembly votes, governor signs bill and monuments are gone.

Lee, Jackson, Jeff Davis, et al were traitors, and their treason caused death and destruction throughout the land they claimed they were protecting. To perpetuate a socio-economic system based on human slavery, no less. Even if you ignore the treason, they were losers, both in theory and in practice. But this is a free country, and if you want to erect monuments to traitors on your own property, please feel free. It's like flying the confederate flag. First Amendment says you can speak, and you don'teven need to seem intelligent. Just don't be surprised if people judge you on the merits of your "speech", and interact with you accordingly. And don't expect me, as a taxpayer, to subsidize your fake history treating these traitors as heroes.

No one can deny they were traitors. Do real Americans have the right not to have treason celebrated in their public places?

Why do you insist that these Dems/traitors be honored with statues in the public square. Are you a Dem?

People have been given a taste of Progressive Liberalism and they have found it bitter. It will now change for the better. It is written.
