No, the host parents need to slap them though; get you kid to take a couple of bites of bad pizza, then go off on your own while the kid runs around. Hopefully no blood will be drawn at CEC while “playing.”

The difference is Chuck E Cheese has a front door monitor and an area designed as "an attractive Nuisance" for kids. Therefore CEC has to take several extra steps for safety and security for the brats. Most restaurants don't have an "attractive nuisance" like a "play area,” so, no need for “extra care” in safety and security for kids. By the way, when was the last time you were at a CEC party and the kids sat still for more than say...seven minutes? At Chuck E Cheese, kids just don't sit down.
