What is the normal outcome of something like this in the courts if he was not drinking or drugging?

It depends. There has been some indication the pedestrian wasn't crossing at an intersection. If that is the case and Stallworth wasn't on a substance, there may be no charges (those the guy's family may still try to sue). However, if Stallworth hit the guy in a crosswalk or in some other circumstance where he was supposed to yield, I'm sure he could be charged with something.

UPDATE 12:53PM - The Florida Sun-Sentinel provides additional details. Charges are "pending the results of the investigation and blood tests"
