POLL: Should Barack Hussein Obama change his middle name to something more American-sounding? It was ok to be a "rogue senator" named Hussein when he was in Chicago, but now that he's President, and represents us, he should change his name. Hussein is too confusing, misleading, and gives the USA a bad image (Think Hussein, suicide bombers, terrorists, and muslim comes to mind). What are your thoughts on this? Is "Hussein" acceptable?

Yes I think he should - it would satisfy IGNORANT people like you who have never stepped foot outside Fairfax County.
Hussein, and various spellings, is a VERY popular name throughout the world. Just cause one guy had it as his LAST name - a guy who had his country invaded for no fucking reason - is no reason to change it.

For one, I wasn't a member here during that time period. Second of all I did defend Bush. I always defend the President. He is after all, the President.

NO, of course he should not change his name... There is nothing wrong with it... To say that the name "Hussein" gives the USA a bad image is totally idiotic... If his middle name was something like "Joseph" (first name of Stalin) or "Palin" (last name of Todd Palin, former member of the Alaskan Independence Party and Sarah's husband), would that give the USA a bad name? I don't think so... Shared names do not in any way indicate shared views.

Listen up...if it wasn't apparent then, it is now. Obama just poured BILLIONS into Pakistan. "Hussein" really makes me wonder who he's working for...us, or the muslims. He can show a sign of good faith by changing his middle name to something more standard. This will lower people's suspicions as to where his loyalties lie
