I started buzzing my hair back in the late 90's and finally started shaving it bald around 2003. Back then I had little, if any receding hair so it was a maintenance thing. 10 years later, I have some hair loss so I just stick with it.
It's so liberating. No spending money on haircuts or shampoo. No more hathead, bedhead, or that unwashed greasy feeling. No more sweaty, damp headmop in the summer. Shaving it down once a week is all you do. Two downsides - nothing to catch the sweat and you need a skullcap in the fall/winter.

She was a middle-aged Korean lady and she did a great job, and she gave me a neck massage afterwards and a hot blade shave on the back of my neck. It's not as short as I wanted it on the sides but it'll work just fine.

Stabitha believes that Jesus returned to Earth in the 20th century as an older Korean gentleman named Ahn Sahng-hong.

I guess it's been 4 years, but I had pony tail halfway down my back. One day I just got tired of it and got the buzz.
Up until last summer I've had the buzz but now I'm letting it grow out again.
Just my 2 cents.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. But IMO a goatee does balance out the chromedome. Luckily, my head isn't lumpy and all fucked up, so I've got that going for me.

my hair grows long too and pretty wild until one night last year my so called friend dared me into a bet where I shaved a huge swastika into the back of my hair. I got so many dirty looks everywhere, lets just say it wasn't too wise of a decision and leave it at that! people were freaking out at me and calling out against the nazi.
Rockhound after the high and tight. He strictly told the barber not to shave on the face, just the sides of his head and back of the neck. It's a clean look, but a little too much length on top to be a true high and tight.

Different place, then. Mine's not in South Riding.

Check out these hot buzzcut chicks. I spent some time with a chick who shaved the right half of her hair and had really long hair on the other side. She looked like a fool.
I had hair down to my ass. Then several years ago, I shaved it all off. Haven't looked back. $25 pair of clippers, apply as needed before you take a shower, no muss, no fuss.
Plus, random girls are always trying to pet you like a teddy bear. That's cool too.
