Meade is this generation's Randy Newman

He makes silly little nonsense/parody songs and can't sing or play piano. The only difference is for some inexplicable reason, there are a large number of people who take Randy Newman seriously and love his stupid retard-voice nursery rhyme songs. Is Randy Newman brain-damaged? He sounds like he is.

why? this one's better. why do people get all uppity just because there's more than one thread on something? are we in danger of running out of threads? the more threads the better. the more threads on the same exact subject the butter. why so stingy? why is this such a big thing on internet? more than enough threads to go around.

Meade displays what the old timers used to call Presence, a rare form of charisma.

Oh, I didn't realize your ego was at stake... Never mind, you do what you want...

I just believe that keeping topics in one thread improves the reader's over-all viewing experience.

who's fooling who here. thomas edison patented not just his own films, but the rights to the technology that projectors of the time used to show them. why. because he had an ego. and what happened. the movies moved to the other side of the country, where the laws were different. and how did the over-all viewing experience improve for cinema-goers as a result? it wasn't till the 70's that movies got interesting again.

now please to be joining us in the Meade needs to cut a country/rap crossover track thread

thomas alva edison wanted total control over his films, and wanted every last red cent they made, he was so afraid of people stealing them. so he copyrighted and patented the actual process of projecting film to make sure he lost no money. every film projected on the east coast of the nation would make thomas edison money. no one wanted to put up with that, so instead of co-oping, the whole entire industry moved to hollywood. movies quickly got ham-handed and stale. because edison wanted everything under one tent, instead of many. hollywood made their own tent too. not until movies started to move off of soundstages and back to the east coast, around the late 60's, did they become interesting again. that's why we should have many threads on many subjects, and many threads on the same subject. as many tents as possible. that improves the viewing experience.

Actually, he sings well. His piano playing is just okay. His songs are horrid, though.

The difference is that Randy Newman, as horrible as he is, has probably made a shit-ton of money. I doubt Meade clears $30K/year.

I doubt Meade has cleared one-tenth of that in all of his 15 years of performing put together. Meade doesn't have a career, he has an expensive hobby that he's devoted a decade and a half of his life to, to the exclusion of anything else.

He has no testosterone whatsoever.

For all intents and purposes, Meade is a Eunuch.
