The Redskins should change their name to the Pigskins

Why don't the Washington Redskins change their name to the Pigskins? Fans would still get to call them "the skins" and they already have the Hogettes, the guys that dress up like pigs in dresses. Pigskin has a football connotation to it. It's the perfect solution!!

Hey, OP...The Hogettes retired after last season: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hogettes

The Redskins don't have a name problem...they have a LOGO problem. They can keep the name and just change the logo to a potato...
