Thank you for bringing the flu to work

You were just too important to stay home and get well. You had to come to work and spread it around. Thanks

i hate it too when people do this. They somehow think they are noble and brave for going to work sick. All they do is make other people sick. If you're sick, stay home! Its the right thing to do.

Guessing you would prefer to get it from someone else? A stranger maybe? Maybe you were hoping to hide from the flu forever? Maybe you were thinking of wrapping yourself in a protective bubble? Or maybe you should mind your own business and hope your immune system can handle a few germs. That and don’t swap spit with your coworkers.

Yeah, sounds like my wife - a non-ending cold - relatively mild symptoms like a cold but it Just Keeps Going On - she's on her second week, I think, rather than get it and be over with it in 4 days.

This has been the worst year for illness. I've been put down for the count twice so far and I almost never get sick. I got that 24 hour norovirus and it was awful. Until this year, I hadn't vomited since 2000 if that tells you anything.

My daughter hasn't missed a day of school in the last 3 years and she's missed one after Thanksgiving with that 24 hour bug, today and will probably miss tomorrow too from what we call "the crud".

Get a flu shot. $20 or so at CVS. Or check with your employer, they may give them free or at reduced cost so their employees don't get sick. I got mine free at work this year so I won't have to worry about those assholes who didn't and come to work sick.

Being sick is no fun. Having bronchitis back in September only to get it again thanks to my niece who was sick before Christmas only to have it again. And to this day still not feeling well. On top of everything else only to end up with bell palsy. And I am not 100% recovered from that as well. But its better than it was before.

Indeed I do. Don't tell me when I'm well enough to come to work. I can make that call on my own. Pissing and moaning because I have the sniffles and you're worried you might catch it makes you sound like an uptight germaphobe. Just FYI.

Why do you feel better posting useless, agrumentative nonsense? What makes you feel better about it? Do you think it's funny? Do you think is thought-provoking? Do you realize that you're coming across as a total dick? What makes anti-social shitheads like you tick? Perhaps once we understand your type, we can prevent more mindless murders, which your type are always behind. Let's stamp out anti-social shitheadism. Help us by opening up about your bizarre mental instability and hatred of society. TIA

I feel better letting you know that your opinion is not the only one.

Apparently you understand this very well as you've done so yourself by stating that my opinion is useless.

Anti-social? Hardly. Your bringing up murder now? WTF is wrong with YOU?

I'll go to work when I feel well enough to go to work.

Understand?

Now please go back to complaining about "my type" and I'll continue to do as I choose. As it is well within my rights and doesn't make me an anti-social murderer. Being a wimp who is scared of germs doesn't make you a better person. In fact, I'd argue the opposite. Get over yourself.

Yes, it's all about you. The entire universe revolves around you. Who gives a shit about anyone else, just you. Your posts are all about you, not the people you infect. Like I said, a shithead. A selfish, uneducated, self-centered, smack-talking, bug-eyed shithead. I'm sure mommy and daddy shithead are very proud of the cancerous scum they've unleashed on our society.

Me? I thought it was all about you? Poor, poor, you.

You're really good at name calling! Uneducated? Shithead? Cancerous? You seem very upset. Bug-eyed is the best though. What's that about? Bug-eyed? Like my eyes are bugging out of my head?

Take a chill pill, pal. I didn't spit in your food or deliberately "infect" anyone. I went to work with the sniffles. You'll live. On second thought with all that anger you'll probably die of high blood pressure at an early age.

Either way, people who go to work with a cold aren't the uneducated murdering scum shitheads you suspect them to be. See a therapist. You sound like you could use some help.

I started just one of many epidemics likely to hit the office this year. Thanks, Boss!

No shithead, it's not about me. It's about everyone but you. When you show up to work sick, you're screwing over everyone else. Being a self-absorbed prick blinded by your own egotistical bromance with yourself, you don't get it. You can not reasonably defend showing up to work with an infectious disease. Yet you try. Therefore you are unreasonable. An inane, snot-nosed, indifferent, hate-filled, potbellied, unreasonable shithead. The need to spread your diseases to others does nothing but demonstrate how miserable you realy are. Next time you get sick, do us all a favor and end your miserable life instead of spreading your misery to the rest of us. It's bad enough we have to read your drivel on this board. You and your ilk are unwelcome in society. Nothing personal.

You mad bro? Seek help. No one would post this kind of crap unless they have issues. I'm hoping you spew this online hate from work and someone catches on to your anger issues before you go postal. I really hope you get the flu and the mental help you need soon. Cheers!

This thread isn't about the sniffles.

It's about the flu and your odd reaction to the OP who thinks infected people should stay home.

YOU: Hey, asshole, if I come to work with the flu, that's my business and I don't give a flying fuck if I infect you. Go live in a bubble if you don't like it.
