Per some definition I read somewhere or other, making $400,000+ per year qualifies one as "rich", while having a worth (net or gross - I don't know!...probably net) of $20+ million dollars qualifes one as "uber-rich".

Interestingly, I am neither...yet.

Until you have an income of $500,000 per year I will not consider you rich. Anything less and you are just doing well but not rich.

It's all relative. If you make less than $500,000, you certainly are not ever going to be filthy rich. If you make over $100,000 in this area, you would be comfortably middle class (as long as you don't mismanage your money or have more than 3 kids). You'd need to make over $500,000 to be rich around here. If you make over $100,000 out in the hinterland, you're probably the richest person around.

I am paid very nicely to post comments on various internet blogs for my employer, BelowMe.

Of course, today is the only day I get any personal time to post my own comments. BelowMe is a real douchebag, but he pays me faily well. I make 25 cents above minimum wage for being his manservant. I'd be making exactly minimum wage if it wasn't for the Manservant union who negotiated the 25 cent raise after 10 years of faithful service to my master, BelowMe.

He's also a shitty tipper, like most wealthy douchebags. I got a $5 gift card to Neimann Marcus for my holiday bonus this year!

Exec. Asst. is a mid-fifties female, on a high 5 figure salary w/benefits and annual bonus, has a company car, and a company credit card for gas and maintenance. She is highly organized and pays meticulous attention to every little detail. She is exceptional.

Always tip 20% or more - even for shitty service. Often like to blow the exceptional waiter/waitress away with a shockingly high tip in cash if possible so they don't have to pay taxes on it. They never forget you and when you go back they take extra good care of your party.
