Moreno was originally from Brooklyn.He worked in a paint store, His brother was a defrocked priest, his dad an unemployed construction worker. Moreno was known locally as a great dancer , and was the leader of a street gang. At the time, he was in love with an older more mature girl named Stephanie, who was his partner in the dance contest, but Stephanie used him. A neighborhood girl, Annette, was in love with Moreno, but he was always the type of guy who only wanted what he couldn't have, so he used and rejected Annette in much the same manner that Stephanie rejected him.

He won a dance contest, but actually gave the money to the second place couple , because he truly thought they were better.

Moreno had to get out of Brooklyn, because he felt his friends were phonies, and one of them died tragically in a fall from the Varrezano Bridge. He and Stephanie decided to be friends, and the last I saw of him, he was in Manhatten.

I can't ever remember him being in the least bit funny. He was just another troll who took it a few steps farther than the other trolls on this forum.

I think his version of trolling appealed to those who eventually joined his "committee", but he was really just trying to destroy FU from within. Why, is anyone's guess, but clearly he has mental problems.

A few members of the committee are still around, but most have been behaving since the purges. However, there are still a few here who offer nothing interesting, stalk certain posters, turn threads into pre-pubescent name calling and try to bait people into never ending arguments. Yeah, he spent all day destroying the forum. He used it as his personal Private message system, he started hundreds of anonymous threads saying how much he liked himself, he purposely bumped all the legitimate threads down and bumped his up, he flooded the forum numerous times with 2-3 word nonsense and is just an overall complete douchebag.

There was NOTHING funny about him at all. He had some creative and artistic skills, but instead of using them constructively, he chose to be destructive with them and troll.

I feel sorry for the guy, he clearly has issues, but I'm glad Cary booted his ass.

Well, if he is, his presence isn't noticeable and I can live with that.

When I first got here I thought he was kinda funny because his humor was different and quirky. After a while his posts degraded so much that it became a little unbearable. The posts didn't bother me, what bothered me was that it filled the board and shut out other stuff. All in all though, it didn't bother me too much. He was a pest, but what can you do? ya know.

Was he a troll? I dunno, I guess not till the end of his career. I believe that a troll has to have the active intent to disrupt and I don't think that was the goal of his ramblings until the last few months that he was here. Near the end I think he was just trying to see how far he could go.. testing Cary's limits. Seeing how many people he could piss off... now that is trolling. He was giving FFU the middle finger.

His ultimate downfall was that he fancied himself an Andy Kaufman type and if you didn't understand his schtick then too bad, you're a dummy. The problem was that eventually no one understood his schtick.

I don't think his schtick was anything like Kaufmans and if that's the idea he was shooting for, he missed the target by a mile. Both Andy Kaufman and Ali G trolled people in a funny way and the desired result was "WTF, who is this guy?" They also did their thing in a non destructive way.

Misery had people saying "you're just an annoying turd, go away!" He wouldn't have lasted long at all if it hadn't been for others feeding him and responding to every stupid, banal post he started, even the anonymous ones about himself.

I would have given him credit if anything he said or did was actually funny, but it wasn't. Schtick or not. How are threads like "where is Harry Tuttle?" or "Where is Alias?" or any of the hundreds of Where are... threads, funny?

Feel free to dig through his old threads and try to find one that was funny.

I agree that we should stop discussing Mr. Misery, but only because he thrives on attention, whether it be supportive or negative. The fact that Mr. Misery is himself posting these wedding pics lets me know that he wants this to perpetuate as much as possible.....because it is getting him attention.


However, I have noted before how strange it is that Harry Tuttle supports Mr. Misery so much. I mean, Harry Tuttle begged Cary for months to remove the posts that revealed his cell phone number and the references to "Denim and Diamonds," allegedly an old employer of his. All those posts were started by Mr. Misery, based on information Harry and Misery confided in each other in PM.
