It gets confusing once you pass the international date line. Australia and New Zealand vote start voting before Hawaii, but Hawaii and New Zealand close before Japan starts voting.

Then Australia closes, and then Japan.

At least, that was how it was in 2008. I'm not sure if they changed it in 2012.

Japan results are in --- actually BEFORE Florida (Weird!)

Obama - 58%
Romney - 12%
Godzilla' - 30%

That was the national election. In the race for Tokyo mayor, the results were

Astroboy - 32%
Speed Racer - 27%
Ultraman - 19%
Pikachu - 12%
