Simmons and the Westfield crew, they are competitive and one of the teams to beat every year

The TJ football coach is great, and he's also a Calculus teacher.

My Top 4 coaches

1. Ferri from Stuart does a good job with limited resources and players. he definitely get the most out of his players.Id like to see him at a bigger program, he could do well.

2. Hanson from yorktown wins 8 or 9 games every year, has a tough time in the playoffs, I know the schedule is questionable, but he does win. At a bigger program he could be tough to beat.

3. Poytress from lake braddock has done a really good job the past 5 years.
He took last years team to 1 game from the region title losing to the NR champs and eventual state runner up. This, when everyone said they wouldnt even win the district without nebrich zanelato. He is doing something right.

4. Haddock from Centreville has returned the program back into a contender.
He does a good job with the players and they have bought into his system.
But, can he keep the same momentum without the top level players he has had the past few years.

Agree that Ferri and Hanson do well w/what they have. I just checked Yorktown's sched for the past 2 years; their only losses were to C'Ville, SoCo, and WL--2 state finalists and a rival. Overall sched is weak with biggest wins vs. Langley, McLean, Lee and Hayfield. Let's see how they fare vs. MD4A Bowie in the opener. As for Stuart, didn't they lose the RB and much of the O line?

Interesting point about the Stuart coach, makes you wonder what he could do at schools like Westfield, Centreville, Braddock, Oakton.

On the other hand, how would coaches from those schools do at Stuart?

Well it is definitely not Mike Lalli for Chantilly. He straight up took a State Contender before Division play last year and ran it into the ground with awful playcalling and coaching. It's a shame.

Chantilly also needs a new DB coach. They are taught to never try to find the ball...just wait until the receiver's eyes get big and then try to put your hands up.

Lalli needs to go. He might have revived the Chantilly winning tradition from the state run in the 90s but he has lost his touch. We need a real coach.

Fire 'em all.

Parker can't hold a candle to what Lewis accomplished at Edison.

It looks like the players quit on Lally last year.

Chantilly should hire the OC from Lake Braddock. With the atletes Chantilly has and the number of players that are in the program, he could really make them the team to beat in the region.
He runs the spread offense, and doesnt like to run the ball very much, but he would at least make them more exciting.

I cant see that staff staying around too long, if they have another season like last years meltdown.
