I witnessed this accident it was brutal and horrible to see. I understand all the comments that are being made yes she was at fault but many people have died and no matter the cause or situation they too were loved by someone. She could have been being chased and in fear of her life and running away, now is that likely no not with her history but possible. Perhaps there was more going on than the police are saying right now. Perhaps there was something going on in her personal/professional life that has not yet come to light. Why not wait until things start emerging into the public eye about her situation days and weeks prior to this accident? I imagine that is because we like to demonize people as often as possible because it makes us feel so justified about mistakes we have made that haven't been uncovered.

Yes, she had a bad driving record. Is there any way to know whether her girls were in the car when she had been pulled over and cited in the past? If so, do us all a favor and share the information. Have any of you ever sped (if you have kids) without your kids in the car? I know I have and I know plenty of other parents who have done the same thing. That does not make you the front runner for worst parent of the year. There is no record that she had been speeding with her girls in the car in the past. She did drive places alone.

You want more specific information about her, other than the "she was nice" snow job? OK, I can tell you that she was a very caring mother. She went to every play, every ceremony, every parent-teacher conference. When the kids were sick, she left work (even if it meant getting in trouble) to take care of them. She received no child support and refused to sign up for public assistance. She lived alone with her girls and did a good job. The girls were happy and well adjusted. She would've given her last dollar to feed them before she fed herself. Has anyone watched the news footage of her neighbor being interviewed? He knew she was a good mother and was not afraid to tell the reporter that. (I suspect that might be because there was no threat of terms like cunt, fucking bitch and other classy language being hurled in his direction because he praised her).

At work, she did her best each day. She was eager to get her work done and to do it well. She was very well liked by everyone at the office. She was never too proud to ask questions and to try to take on new tasks. She was so excited to land the job she had prior to her death because it would "make her girls proud". That meant so much to her. She wanted them to be proud of her because she was painfully aware of mistakes she had made in the past. She was making honest attempts at living a better life. Unfortunately, she made a grave error that night that cannot be undone. She cannot continue to learn and grow as a person and a mother. Sadder still, her girls will never graduate high school, go to college, get married or have children. In saying this, I can tell all of you with certainty that Dejon would have been happy to be the only one that died as a result of this accident.

In knowing what I know about her, I can say she wouldn't have purposely harmed a hair on those girls' heads. She took great pride in her girls. She was always putting up new drawings and pictures of them at her desk.

It has been said (from a pretty reliable source) that she might have fallen asleep at the wheel. If that is the case, is she still the worst mother in the world? (I know I will get rhetorical, smart ass answers to that question, but, I am asking it any way).

If this was your sister, your daughter, your friend, your wife, would you be on this site writing things like ghetto queen, cunt, bitch, she's burning in hell, there's obviously more than one babydaddy, fuck her, etc. I think we tend to be a little more forgiving when we have first hand knowledge of someone who has made mistakes (no matter how big or small). Perhaps that is because we know that there is more to the person than the act they have committed. I was aware of the fact that she had resigned. I worked with her. I know what is on her Facebook page. She just resigned last week. Hence my comments about something more going on with her than has come to light for the public.None of you know what was going on there. I am not saying what she did was right. I never said she was perfect. I did state that she made a bad choice that cannot be undone. I am thankful that I was not in the car when this happened, I am thankful that my child was not killed in the accident. I admit all of that freely. I am also saddened by the loss of three lives and for the loss that their family will never recover from.

I've sat on a jury trial and sent someone away for a decent amount of time, about 8 years. With sentencing guidelines I figure they probably did 1/2 that. Anytime you see these tragic incidents ( This was not an accident ) and you look at the persons record ( well what we have been told ) it sounds like she has been in a court repeatedly for various driving infractions. Quite a few people have been in a position to have a significant imapct on her ability to operate a vehicle in the future. Would be interesting to see what those people think of her actions.

The driver of the minivan has not died. As far as the papers/media have recently reported...he is still in critical condition.
