West Po Teacher missed 30 days

John Downs missed 34 days since the school year started. He never responds to emails and he never teachers. He has only one self contented class and he never teachers, All his students failed the World History 1 sol. why because he didn't teach. why can't they fire him? The other classes he has are team taught, but still why is he allowed to keep teaching?

If his only class is self contented, why should he teacher?

If his only class is self contented, why should he teacher?

Unions are for the lame and lazy. People who just show up and do what they were hired to do never have any dealings with them.

It could have been a combination of things. Maybe he or a family member was sick? Out for meetings? Who knows?

Special Ed teachers are the Special Ed of teachers.
This is a non-story. All Special Ed teachers are high payed babysitters. The real issue is all teachers make the same scale. PE, Special ED, Music get paid the same as AP Chemistry and Calculus teachers.
Pretty sweet!
The best is when a young unjaded AP teacher who is doing a great job and getting awesome scores realizes that being only 7 years in they are making 50k and year and the 30 yr old PE teacher who takes off 2 days a week through out the year is making over 90k!
