Gordon, I don't know you but I think you should take 2Concerned up on his offer to meet at a public place and have a sit down talk face to face and I think you two maybe able to walk away with a handshake when it the meeting was over.
I assure you since he was born I have NEVER seen any ANY violent actions. He is a very mild mannered person. When he truely believes in a cause as he does in this, that someone has to be accountable for the safety of our children he will continue WITH WORDS to do everything to the best of his ability to make people realize there is an issue that needs addressed.

Because I needed the cops here. I didn't know who was serious, who wasn't. I needed them to know that all was okay in my house, so I could sleep. If I called them to look around, it wouldn't have gone as well. Now, they'll only step onto the property if I allow it. There's pending litigation... they'll be careful, I think.

If you read back in the thread (and the two prior ones) he said all the major news networks refused to carry his "story" and the Patch, desperate for any content at all, refused to run it because it violated their terms of publication.

Carl Sandburg Middle School was placed under heightened security Wednesday after the principal received indirect threats.

The Fairfax County Public Schools Office of Safety and Security notified principal Terrence Yarborough at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday that there were indirect threats being made towards him, according to an email sent to parents and guardians. The school immediately took security precautions; no classes were held outside and adults and school security monitored all exits. The doors were secured as part of the school's daily security plan.

The email stressed that at no point were students in any danger. The situation is being monitored by school officials and Fairfax County Police.

No, the play will continue. I've had far too many threats. Someone called the police today. Filed a false report, I'm guessing. Two of the three cops thought they had an open door again, and were in my yard.

So, I've had Mike, at least 4 FCPD officers (two came back today), one armed FCPS security guard, and another woman from Mobile Crisis today.

No, I've never placed an anonymous or false call. The Police allowed my Wife to sleep last night. Didn't hurt me much, either. Anyone with common sense would've said, okay he's real, everything is fine. Somehow, I don't expect that here.

And 911 responds differently when you call from the address in distress... no, you guys can call them all night. I doubt you could get them here, and if they come, I promise you, they'll leave without talking to anyone.

YOU folks posted my kids with expressed malicious intent. The rules are different now. Gordon got it rolling here, and probably had a LOT to do with what Terrence did. Yeah, I'm upset. In Gordon's defense, he/she is very passionate, and when he/she see's something that he/she feels is wrong, he/she just jumps right in there head first into battle. Personally though, I can't fault Gordon, if I were him/her, I'd probably do the same thing if I thought there was a serious concern about the well being of other people at stake here. In this case, you really do have some issues and I think some time away from the computer would do you some good. (And probably Gordon too).
