Space Shuttle over Chantilly

Just thought it might be fun to start a thread for folks to share pictures of the shuttle from around the area.
I felt very patriotic as it passed overhead this morning and was reminded of what a great country this is.
I was at the small church at 28 & 50.

You might want to run the posted photos through an editor, however, to reduce them in size of about a quarter in each direction, THEN post the editted photo.

That is a HUGE tree. While I appreciate your enthusiasm, what does the Space Shuttle have to do with beiing patriotic? To me, the program was a huge waste of money and in my opinion, the only thing Obama has done right -- shutting the program down (although, this too was set in motion prior to his being elected).

I thought you might find this funny. In the past 2 hours, we have received two dozen or so UFO sighting reports near Dulles. All appear to be of the shuttle and the plane carrying it. LOL

it was pretty cool too see it fly right over my house! I went to the bank after and heard people saying dumb shit like, "Oh I thought it was aliens." and "it went to space? so whats the big deal?"
