Personal Property Tax outside FFX county?

I am in the process of buying a house in the Haymarket/Gainsville area, and am wondering if anyone has any information on the personal property tax in Prince William County, if there is any. I just recently paid the PPT on my car for Fairfax County. Thanks for the help.

Of course Prince William has the personal tax. I have never heard of a VA County or City that doesn't have it. The rate may vary but they all have it.

You don't pay twice though, they will credit the tax paid to another County/City.

Be advised that if you are in the "Town of Haymarket, you will be hit up for more. I've looked a bit in that area (great prices, and the commute for me wouldn't be much worse) and I am making sure to not look in Haymarket itself. I don't see any advantage to living "in town".
