PaPa Johns comes out #1 from that list. However, there are alot of local Pizza places that are a whole lot better...Jimmy's, Don Corleone's Brick Oven Pizza, etc.

There were three original choices to choose from. Vocelli isn't one of them.

Shitty poll concerning generally shitty pizza. First off the list is Pizza Hut which cannot be considered pizza but anybody in the Western hemisphere.
I like Dominos' salty crust, but the sauce is still not so great. I guess it will have to be Papa Johns.

I always thought (still do) that Vocelli's was like the original Dominos - stuff on cardboard. Or maybe it's like "homemade" Chef Boy-ar-Dee (or however you spell that).
Strangely, just about every pool party/kids birthday party my daughter has gone to has had Vocelli's pizza - is it particularly inexpensive or something?
damn near anything other than papa johns and dominos...both are horrible...sad state of affairs that they both are still in business...it's certainly not from my patronage...tonys in fairlakes has the best new york style...but if we are rating chains, i had "flippn" for the first time the other day and it seemed to have potential...only had 1 cold slice though...any opinions on them?

@Charter: +1 for Ciro's in Centreville. Buon Appetito on Metrotech in Chantilly also makes an excellent New York-style pie. So does Wegmans, for that matter.
@Little Caesars: Where in Manassas? Little Caesars ain't exactly quality, but it's hard to beat a $5 large (14-inch) pie.
@OP: Overall, Papa Johns—though Domino's Philly Cheesesteak Pizza has a strong case for best individual menu item from a national chain.
