Malik's Pizza in Springfield

Someone here had recommended this place in the past so thought to give it a try. Had a nice chewy crust but the cheese & sauce were bland. Toppings weren't that great either.

For food like that in general, I prefer Victors Pizza Den in Spfld. (OKM and Rolling Rd)

At Malek's, I only get the SPaghetti Pizza. It is good stuff.

We had the Combo at Maleks and will not be back. Will try Victors next chance we get.

I would never eat pizza at a place called Maleks. It doesnt even sound good.

as far as eating Maleks at normal business hours - not a good idea.

Malek's is a joint you go to drunk at 4 AM. The variety of clientele at that hour is worth the middling food.

I will say that their white pizza is pretty good though.

Try the pizza fries and the gyro pizza. Its the best late night place in springfield.

Ya it's the same one, but NOT the original owner. Was sold 5 or 8 years ago. Current owner did a good job of keeping the food tasting the same. A lot of the original cooks still work there as well.

I really like ANgelicos Pizza on route 29. Used to be a chinese place. now its upscale Italion eatery. Aint no All-ive gardeen tho.

The Danny Boy sandwich, which is the Springfield version of a chesse steak, is about the best thing at Maliks.
