I am posting the email exchange between me and the DHS special agent. But first let me explain my motivation in exposing Anni's criminal activities.
When Anni's situation started to unravel, it was the revelation of her criminal activities that bothered me the most; it was her unethical behavior. Anni is not merely a career prostitute who want to find a better life this country; I have no problems with that. I for one think prostitution should be legalized. However, she – and the other Thais girls -- manipulates unsuspecting men to support her criminal enterprise, including drug trafficking. This I cannot tolerate. Those men were her boyfriends and husbands; actually I consider myself a lesser victim, if a victim at all.
The following are a few examples known to me; I'm sure there are many victims out there and in other cities.
I mentioned in my original post the Anni and her friends duped her boyfriend into signing an apartment for them to used for receipt and distribution of illegal drugs. After that venture was uncovered by the authorities she asked her second husband to rent an apartment for her in Silver Spring, close to a nail school, for her. Her unsuspecting husband did so not knowing that Anni used it to run a brothel and to receive and distribute drugs. To expand her business she later moved from a one- to two-bedroom apartment in the same building. I helped her in that move.
A few months later, she asked me to sign for an apartment in Rockville so that she and her friend – and occasionally some visiting friends -- can used it solely as a residence while keeping the Silver Spring location as a brothel. She promised that it will be used for her business. They ended up using the Rockville apartment to see clients a few times and I was not happy about that. As far as I know that they have received a package -- a thick manila envelope -- only once.
In an exchange of emails with a friend, he said:
“Providers are a rough crowd, they all must live a lie to many people if they are to have anything of a normal personal life. She used you for sure, that is just what beautiful bitches do; they can get away with it. Shame on her, but do not let her bring you down, she ain't worth it, dude. Try to look on the bright side, at least you will get out and be OK. She and her boyfriend [note: her current husband] will not; her shit will keep following her around and when it finally catches up to her, she will take down everyone around her; thankfully you will not be one of them.”
One of Anni’s ex-boyfriend wrote,
“I am a firm believer in that what goes around comes around. At this point she is probably thinking she has gotten away with all of these things, and moving on to her next conquest(s). Hopefully she is wrong.”
"Her shit will follow her around and. . . catches up with her" and "what goes around comes around." These statements may well be true implying that at some point Anni will be stopped. But I do not believe that karma happens in a vacuum, and I am not one who sits idly by when injustice is done.
So I started my investigation and cooperated with the MC police who told me that the was working with Immigration. However, I decided to take initiative and wrote the immigration office in Fairfax County to report her. They responded to by telling me that they've referred the case to DHS. A few days later I received the following email.

Mr.******,
Good afternoon. My name is **** ******** and I am a Special Agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement assigned to the Washington D.C. Field Office. I am assigned to the Narcotics Smuggling Group and our primary mission is to investigate individuals involved in the illegal importation and distribution of narcotics here in the Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. areas. I received your letter dated September 1, 2008 that addresses your concerns with Ms. ******. After having discussed Ms. ******'s possible activities with my Group Supervisor, we have decided that she may be a subject of interest to our organization. Aside from Ms. ******'s suspected narcotics activities, we may be able to further investigate her illegal prostitution activities as they relate to illegal alienage.
I would like the opportunity to meet with you here at our field office in Sterling, Virginia to further discuss the possibilities of opening an investigation into Ms. ******'s activities. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and we will arrange a time that is agreeable for all parties interested.

After the interview, I found more information based on my investigation, particularly the name of the Fairfax County police captain whom Anni worked for. I emailed that information to DHS and a MC police detective. The next morning I received a reply from DHS indicating that they would not pursue the case.

I have investigated on my own, however I have neither skills nor the means to proceed further and dig deeper into the areas involving the police department. Perhaps someone who read this will pursue it.
I'm willing to provide most detailed and specific information to those genuinely interested but at this moment I am not prepared post the names for general consumption.
