I was meaning to post this the other day but I haven't had a chance since I have been really busy. I saw on Gary from The Shoot's twitter page that he did an interview with a podcast called It's All About Meeee!. He goes a little deeper into the whole Dukes situation. Gary, as I have said in a previous post, I am someone who is in the radio industry and like I said before if I were to do what you are doing I could get blackballed with the pull Dukes has in this market. Keep up the good fight and you wouldn't believe the amount of support you have in the local DC radio market. We are fed up with Chad's crap and are glad to see someone stand up to him.

Oscar has always had a bit of a "Valley Girl" element to him.

How much does Oscar and Drab hate the "Night for Americans"? I had never heard evidence that they cared for Dukes' latest music obsession, nor do they buy into this whole hillbilly dream world he seems to want to live in. On a side note, the story of Dukes working on his dance moves to N'Sync back on the real radio show was one of my favorites. Back when Dukes could laugh at himself and would allow others to laugh at him.

Chad just posted a link to his new radio show on his Facebook page and commented about how he finally is the first person named in the show name. No more "and Dukes". This isn't the first time Chad has lamented the "and dukes" aspect of his career. He's a mess. The Chad from 5 years ago that laughed at himself about being a boy band fan, allowed others to laugh at him when he told a story about getting dressed up and going out to a club where he danced to the boy band music and sang the numerous boy band songs he knew off by heart as he, the crew, and all the fans laughed, is dead.

Last week the bit band thing comes up, Dukes denies ever being a fanboy of them, talked about it for a few minutes, pretended to not know the lyrics to the song they played, then moved on with his new redneck Dukes persona that doesn't take any ribbing anout anything. It's amazing that he hasn't figured out that as the old funny Dukes has slowly been replaced with redneck nasty Dukes, the fans have slowly left as well. Nobody wants to listen to a hipster redneck that tells inside jokes about slimjeans Tom and crawfish Hank. Such a shame. Such a waste of a good show.

I've noticed that Chad's twitter feed has essentially evolved into kissing the asses of those in movies, TV, sports, etc. they can criticize and he brushes it off, but if someone "not famous" does it he acts like a spoiled brat and HAGL's them. He truly is the person always angling for something out of somebody. It's just pathetic now.

This thread is dying just like the show is. Nobody really listens, nobody has anything to say about it, nobody shows up to events, it's devolved into a show that's done for the host and his group of hanger-ons. I broke out my old hard drive the other day and found a folder with 1000s of old boad wjfk shows. It's incredible how horrible the show is now and how funny it was back then. It actually made me sad that this is how good the show could be.

Especially because he has told that story 100 times. You can tell Oscar doesnt even know what the hell Chad is talking about but he just keeps on howling. I skipped through that section when I heard him "unhinging his jaw."

Oscars fake laughs are like nails on a chalk board. He was doing another one for like 6 months around 6 months ago. It was like a humming/huh huh Peter Griffin sort of laugh. It was so fake and forced. Why does he do this? Do you think he even knows hes doing it this much?

I dont ever remember him doing it on WJFK unless something was actually LOL worthy.

The Oscar fake laugh is a Mike O'meara induced change in behaviour. Mike has given Oscar and, formerly, Buzzcrap for not "helping him out" and not "being involved". Both of which mean "you need to laugh more like good morning zoo monkeys".

Oscar laughed quite a bit on the old show, but it was because the show was funny, and it was oscars real laugh (which is a throaty, low pitched chuckle) and not his fake cringe inducing hyena cackle.

It used to be just on Mikes show that he let out the fake laugh, but since he does 5 times as many MOM shows than he does BOAD shows, it's now slowly become a part of BOAD too because it's becoming Oscars new radio "personality" that was formed by Mike.

No probably about it. Oscar routinely was criticised for "powering down" during the painfully non-entertaining Audio Vault. All the clips are days or weeks old, anyone who has any source of internet entertainment beyond Facebook has already seen or heard about them. There is absolutely nothing positive to say, so Oscar would just sit quietly. That wasn't good enough, so he took his TMOS game up a notch, and now laughs maniacally at EVERYTHING, funny or not. And it has spilled over to BOAD.

Finally had enough of Dukes on his Twitter feed. Just enraging. Yesterday we got these treats:

- Pandering to be noticed by Anthony Cumia and Jim Norton.
- More "King of English Class" correcting "you're" vs. "your". Yeah it is pathetic more people don't know the difference, but get over yourself.
- WWF info from a 34 year old man.
- Criticizing other sportscasters like "Lavar and Dukes" is some masterpiece that breaks the mold.

And yet another head scratching contradiction, like the "beer guy" who shows up somewhere with a 12 of Busch Light:
- Telling everyone who likes "real acting" to watch a movie
- Followed by him saying how if a movie is over 2.5 hours he won't watch it. Wow, what a movie buff.
