I listened to this week's free show. It was pretty pathetic, they took 3 calls, two were from the same person, and all of them Chad cut them off mid-1st sentence. The only people they have talked to for longer than a sentence so far have been Beau and Rob Stark, not exactly giving people reason to be excited to call in.

I stopped listening to the podcast around July 2012 because it was getting old, and I basically wanted the show to be just like I remembered it from the WJFK days (which it clearly is not). After a long break away from the podcast I started listening regularly once again around March of this year. I began accepting the podcast for what it is these days, and to be honest, it really did entertain me. I even went back and downloaded most of the old podcast episodes i missed during my hiatus. So needless to say, I've been really digging the podcast recently...Until they put out this beer tasting episode. WTF? I dont want to sit there and listen to people talk about beers that im not drinking with them. Clearly just a free plug for the guy who owns the beer store so chad can get free shit. But put that on the intalksacation (sp?) podcast. Dont clutter up BOAD podcasts (the main draw) with an advertisement. Now I didnt listen to the whole thing, and maybe the show did pick up to the big 3 riffing (which is what I, as a boad fan, want), but a good show shouldnt need an advertisement as a vehicle to drive the show. just my dos cientos

I think that they think they can get free beer and promote a sponsor, but I think that they also think that people are entertained by these episodes as well. I am sure that there is a small group of people who are entertained by these episodes, but clearly there are others who are not.

@grabfreelsurps, and he rants about how the show is dying and no one comes out to ultimate anymore and how they keep losing P1s ... and when I was catching up on free shows this last week, they talked about packaging 200 t-shirts for the Reloaded subscribers. Shocker.
Is it ever going to sink in that the problem is CHAD, deliberately ostracizing his most involved (lucrative) fans? If he just kept his mouth shut and let it go, people would keep going to appearances and re-upping for Reloaded without even thinking about it, but he has this intentional campaign of hatred against the people who most want to participate.
He has exactly the subscribers and participation he's cultivated.

What I didn't get about last weeks episode, was what was with all the Oscar hate Chad was throwing out?

It seems like a whole bunch of people stating over and over about how they don't like the way the show is going or about how fat Chad has gotten. Why spend so much time thinking about things you don't like? The podcast is different to the radio show as they only have one hour to fill (2 if you pay for reloaded). I find it to be hit or miss, but that existed on the radio show as well. I can't say I've ever felt that I wasn't getting my money worth for being a Reloaded Subscriber.

Everything I've heard leads me to believe that he treats people waaay differently in person than he does online.
I generally try to abide by a philosophy of "don't do anything online you wouldn't do in person" but it can be easy to occasionally slip.

I listened to the show L&D 106.7 liked the show, then followed Chad on Facebook. My two cents is he's a wanna be bully, with napoleon complex.
I made a few comments to his posts and just watched him attack almost every post in the thread. maybe he get's off on it not sure. Hours changed at work don't listen anymore and not sure if he's still on facebook since im not on there much. just a thought

Just curious Steve, what is your opinion on Chad stalking and "HAGLing" his devoted followers? Would that be ignorant and unproductive? Certainly falls into your definition of trolling no?

I've said in previous statements that I don't think it's in his best interest if his goal is to grow the brand. That being said, he is a grown man and can do what he pleases. As I've said before, if you don't like, just don't follow him on facebook/twitter. You all obviously know what "sets" him off.

trolling is different than internet bullying. Does chad go out of his way to comment on things he could just as easily ignore, or simply delete the person from his facebook without calling attention to it? He sure does, but I don't think thats trolling.

I did listen to the beer show based on this comment, and I will say it felt a bit more engaging that other beer shows. There did seem to be a bit of content or big 3 interactions throughout that made the talking about beer parts easier to get through.

I will admit I am a little tired of the he likes it in the can joke, but every once in awhile it catches me by surprise and I chuckle.
But really for as much crap they give oscar about maybe coming out as gay some day it sure seems more likely Chad would.

I rolled my eyes when they were talking about making "real music with real instruments." You know who else writes real music using real instruments? Everyone from Dave Matthews Band to the most obscure brutal death metal band, it's not much of an accomplishment.

Chad isn't one of us, so that point is moot...I used to fuck 16 year old girls on the reg...Then I graduated High School...If I did that now, I would go to jail, so referencing something that all of us did at some point is not relevant to the discussion... We can disagree about how to classify Chads internet behavior, but I think we can agree that it is ignorant and unproductive...
