I may be wrong, but based on both Gary's interview and the post by one of the OTR guys, it didn't sound like Chad had a problem with this until after it went down. Also I don't see how it has to be a "Pick a side" type of deal to support one event or the other, it's entirely possible to support both.

If youre gonna support Chad and BOAD then you should support them. Why even bother with podcasters.

The crew and I are apparently joining Chad for a fun weekend of drinking at Whole Foods, talking WWF wrestling, and listening to "Outlaw Country" like the other well adjusted 30-something year olds in the Northern Virginia area. As i said in my interview, my friend (at the time) was hosting his own internet radio show and was having a midnight release party for the COD release. I "shared" the flyer on FB and Chad replied to it "Not Smart Gary". I replied back and got no response.

I don't remember the precise day that they happened. It was all in one day. If i had to guess, i'd say about a week... maybe even two weeks after the midnight release party.

I've seen some people claiming to be part of his clique in here saying i should call in to BOAD and talk to him. That's not going to happen. I do radio as well, i'm not stupid. I know that they will play games and i'm not here to play. He's more than welcome to call into my show if he likes. Some of you in here i'm sure have listened to my show. I don't BS on the show. If he called in i would be fair with him.

Another question you might ask is do i WANT a reconciliation. Well that's very reliant on a few things. He would need to provide the answers to my questions and be honest about it. I know I've spoken quite a bit on this matter recently, and so much time has past since all this went down i don't see any reason why we couldn't figure all of this out. Prior to all of this I considered Chad a buddy. I'm probably way off on this but it seemed like maybe we were becoming friends at the time. That's the impression I got from him. I never asked him for anything, i never needed anything from him. I just enjoyed going out to the appearances and talking with him as we had similar interests.

Also for the record. I never bashed the show, i was always trying to promote/support it. I went out of my way to use my wrestling media contacts to get some of his interviews out there to get more downloads. I was never one of these guys who slammed him and the show after WJFK did the format flip, i remember quite a few people who were very critical and giving Chad, Oscar & Drab so much shit about the flip and i was never one of those guys. My theory is that because i interacted with people who were critical of the flip (OTR) i believe i got lumped in with them and was kicked to the curb. I touched briefly on that in my interview as well.

I know he and his crew think that i'm just out here to start shit and trash him. That's not the truth. I was asked about my falling out with Chad in the interview and I answered. I was done at that point with it until he went on his show and tried to distort my interview and say that i was simply "trashing" him. Thats what caused me to speak out further and go on a rant on my show this week.

In closing it's up to him to put a close to all this, I got his attention & I've said my piece on it. He knows where to find me. I'm one of the many twitter accounts that he's blocked. I also do a live show every Sunday. I'd like to end all the confusion and clear this up once and for all. The whole falling out came out of nowhere, that's where the confusion sets in. If he feels i did wrong then he should say it and let me know where i went wrong in all this. I'll own up to it. Will he own up if he was wrong? That's the question.

Can you tell me why this podcast with (seemingly) no real audience has decided they need to come to your defense behind a paid show that won't come out for 2 more months?

I know you don't control the pricing but why in the hell would anyone wait 2 months to 'come to the defense' of someone?

Come on...You can't expect Gary answer as to why someone else chose to charge for it and distribute it 2 months later. There's no way he had a hand in that. That's something only the guys at SLR can answer.

I can't speak for them. I know they mentioned to me before about doing some premium episodes. Perhaps they figured with all the attention the first interview got they would capitalize on it. It's not something i would do personally, but to a certain extent i get it. Will people pay to listen to it? That i can't answer, i haven't seen their numbers and i don't know their audience.

As it pertains to the 2 months thing, that i definitely don't get. If you were to want to capitalize on the whole thing, my philosophy would be to strike while the iron is hot and put that thing out right away. That's what i would do.

I guess that is more of my point. If you want to capitalize on something why in the world would you wait until all of the attention has died down and THEN release it? If you want to charge for it then at least release it at a time when people might actually pay for it.

The entire reloaded episode last week was working out the logistics of bringing back rally the horde. No one listens or cares about RTH. Punting a show that people pay for is just insulting. Not surprising, they have been punting the free show for years...And Hey Now is right...Why would you ever give them $ for content? They charge more than REAL entertainers and they provide zero show notes or id3 tags... Why spend $3 on shit in a brown paper bag when you could get REAL content from a professional for less $? And it would be labeled so it shows up on your media player and if you actually wanted to listen to the thing you paid for in the future, you could use show notes to locate it instead of trying to associate the episode with a random title like Megatron or Maul? A few months back, someone asked which episode the Big Cat interview was on... FUCK IF I KNOW! Ironically, it was on an episode that I would have NEVER re-listened to , because it was named Scholarship... Scholarship refered to O's ex Psycho Eye, but it was only the last 10 minutes of the show, whereas the Normand interview was the other 3/4ths of the show... A show note would have worked there...

There you go, pretty much shows they've gone off the deep end of being shit "radio". How disrespectful to people who actually buy the content? Although I suppose it is better than using that shit as a "lead in" to get people to listen to BOAD with the free show.

No one fucking cares about the debate over if Chad's friends Slobby Dick and Blacked Out Brad host RTH or if Chad's friends Overalls McGillicuddy and Beard McGee do.

RTH was interesting the first couple episodes, when it was actual fans who actually said what was on their mind about the show. That's what I don't get. Why is he charging for this? Does he REALLY think anyone will pay actual money to hear him commenting on a DIFFERENT person's personal issue with Chad, which was YEARS ago and not even all that interesting in the first place (no offense Gary)? From what I can tell, no one even listens to his show in the first place so it's really unlikely that anyone will pay for it.

I know I personally refuse to buy or even listen to anything from Sadly Lacking Radio. Any show that gives that asshole DCRTV Dave Hughes a forum to spout of his know-nothing bullshit is one I want nothing to do with. This charging thing is just the icing on the cake.

DCRTV Dave has successfully run dozens of of radio, tv and cable outlets and speaks from a place of knowledge.

In reality, Chad's stories could be recreated at his townhouse, seeing it just a bunch of men drinking. No need to go to the Outer Banks. Personally, when I have gone to the beach, I like to sit on a quiet porch and listen to the ocean and drink. Maybe have a cigar. No desire to cram myself in a hot tub with 4 large men and swill Miller Light.

Nobody bought it. Nobody knows! Hell, he is defending Gary and even Gary has to pay to listen to his own defense!

This week's free show was interesting. Chad and the peanut gallery are in the OBX. So to fill in Dukes' chair....Casey Dukes. I was actually pleasantly surprised with the overall show. It was topical, they didn't mention anybody in the peanut gallery, Drab and Oscar actually got to help carry a show, and Casey was pretty entertaining!

No clue how Reloaded turned out, but if I kill them when the show sucks, I have to give them props when they get one right. Sadly, next week Chad will return and we'll hear of the glorious tales of Dirk BlackoutKnee and Smitty WobbleRig

i'm really looking forward to listening to that. i think chad's funny as hell, but when he gets all angry and starts really yelling, i just tune out. i don't mind a little of the peanut gallery, but it's really gotten to be too much . . . for me at least.
