If new peanut gallery member "Bobby Shambles" likes taking notes so much, why doesn't LFFjr put him to work fixing the podcast labeling and show notes? In the event that someone would actually enjoy relistening, it would be nice having ID3 tags or at the VERY LEAST a one sentence summary of the show... I can't imagine people would by Re-Loaded as it stands now...

If I remembre right, Normand tried to give Don an out by saying how difficult it was to work with him after Freida died. Doesn't excuse his shitty behavior the rest of the time.

The original Junkies comment about "Look at where he is now" isn't a slam against Don, since by all accounts, he is doing pretty well. Yes it is Sacramento, but it is not out of his livingroom studio.

No, it's a slam. He is below the Junkies. Think about that. Way below the Junkies.

Dukes' comments about the Skins "cabinet full of trophies" in regards to the Ravens are what I hate about Redskins fans. The team hasn't been a top tier team in nearly two decades and yet they still act like there's something to trash talk about with the current year's team. At least the Ravens have someone on the team who was there when they won their superbowl. If it was Nova born Dallas fans I'd understand, but it's not like the Ravens are irrelevant to the area or they are undeserving of being in the playoffs.

Being a sausage brother is one step closer for Chad to finally come out of the closet.

If it weren't coming from Brian Crane, that comment would come across as being condescending/sarcastic. He lives for this!!!

Great comments. I think it works for Oscar to just play along with Dukes and sell Mangrates, having spending/time guilt and save face as he basically was gifted the studio space from his company. I think if it he were to confront Dukes and play program director and have a blow up like Dukes did with Drab it could possibly end the show and right now he and Drab are at the place they can't even share content between the shows because of Dukes insecurity.

Drab is having fun and Oscar has other outlets to talk about what he wants. Oscar to his credit has wanted to steer the show to great heights on the podcast, I'm thinking of the show where they killed Rally the Horde, but he knows in order to do that he has to not back down about checking Dukes and Chad could easily go solo and the show in podcast form is nothing with out the 3 of them.

The show is in the decline I really believe this could be the last year.

By the way that cast where Drab and Dukes fight (The Sound and the Fury) is a perfect encapsulation about what's wrong with the cast and why it won't succeed. It's the only regular show I have saved.

Agree. I have a couple theories about the change to the "Chad Dukes Show". Maybe having a boss at WJFK kept this in check. Or maybe now that Chad is just an accessory to the "Lavar Arrington Show", he is more insecure than usual and requires some sort of ego boost, that he gets from the peanut gallery. When it was BOAD on WJFK, he was the star. Now he is second fiddle to a horrible broadcaster only in the room because he played linebacker.

Of course the peanut gallery could also just be another "ode" to their heros. I know Opie and Anthony used to have an "audience" in studio and talk about doing it again if SiriusXM would let them. The difference is that it wouldn't be a bunch of Anthony's friends that Opie and Jim don't know. The peanut gallery is just a bunch of Chad's friends, using the word "friends" liberally, which makes it boring.

Either way, Drab and Oscar aren't idiots. They have to know the show is not progressing in a way where it will a) get them a new radio gig or b) expand the podcast. Maybe they are fine just settling for having a small, but surprisingly loyal audience now. Drab has a real gig with the Junkies (who are apparently teflon in this market) and Oscar has Mike O'Meara and a day job. Honestly I think the person with the most to lose would be Chad. He'd be stuck with only doing the sports talk show he admittedly hates and then his various side projects. Maybe he could devote more time to the "Chad Dukes Wrestling Show".

So unless Oscar and Drab have just thrown in the towel and accepted mediocrity, there will probably be a day in the future where they need to have a real talk with Chad about where he has steered the show. And at that point, the show will probably end, because his ego won't be able to take it.

I still get the feeling Dukes is one blowup away from being off WJFK. He obviously doesn't like the format, the co-host or the commute. Besides football, I don't even think he likes sports that much. You have to give him credit for putting in the effort to fake it though. Dukes and Oscar always seemed to do a thorough job of prepping for interviews, something that can't be said about the Sports Junkies.

He has a lot of irons in the fire, but most of them (Harp and Eagle, The Nerds Watch, Beer and Pig, RROD Radio, Dukes Wrestling, Sausage Brothers, etc) don't have the legs to stand on their own, and wouldn't have any listeners without BOAD. He'd pull a small, sycophantic audience with him anywhere he went, but I doubt it would be enough to make a solo show profitable for a radio (satellite or otherwise) station.

He's obviously an attention starved juvenile. Not to say that doesn't work in radio to some extent (Stern, O&A), but I sure wouldn't hire him for anything.

I don't see them doing this podcast a year from now. Aside from the people who show up to the taping, who else is listening? I stopped back in May of last year and don't miss it.

For the second week in a row, fatty has defended the NRA and bullied Oscar and Drab into agreeing that anyone who wants gun control is an uneducated fool. I happen to hate the NRA, but even if I was pro-guns, I'm not listening to Big O and Dukes for Chad's political takes. The guy simply isn't that smart, and if you don't believe me, check out the first 10 minutes of this week's show where fatty bitches about minorities. Basically, I'm looking for comedy and entertainment, and that has been lacking for some time now. It's been replaced with a redneck spouting poorly thought out social and political commentary, two guys who have become complete pussies, and a peanut gallery that I don't care about.

I'll still post on this board from time to time, especially to let everyone know how many times I gaped Andrew Ryan's mother's ass, but BOAD, I'm finished with you.

Jesus, he is really threatened by the fact some guys might do something without him being at the center of it. If Dukes liked soccer and made a new club with a clever name and custom jersey he would be demanding to know why Drab wasn't at practice yesterday.

The Anthony Cumia rant isn't surprising. After becoming an O&A listener for the past year, it is pretty clear where Chad draws "inspiration". The difference is, that during an Anthony Cumia gun rant or minority rant, you'll have Jimmy or Opie time a line just right to even break Ant's rant. With that said, even Anthony's gun rants are a bit tired at this point and I'm a 2A guy. I certainly don't care to hear from Chad, someone who admittedly leaves loaded guns laying around his house. We certainly don't need him leading the charge for guns.

While not an offical member of the Dukes canon, Sporty Dukes still exists. You know his as Ultimate Dukes, Frisbee Golf Dukes, Rugby Dukes. Sporty Dukes is not a fan of soccer and refuses to play, unless of course, it is his idea.

Well Fuck_the_Northman, I'm glad you finally saw the light. This thread has been much funnier than the actual podcast for a long time and I hope to still see you adding your valuable insight here on a regular basis! I can't even imagine listening to LD ranting and railing about the NRA for more than 30 seconds without turning it off.

Yes because not even having the podcast available on O&D.com reviewing Carolina Brothers Barbecue the local establishment that took a chance on your start up is a ringing endorsement to give you massive amounts of food and drink and expect a lasting two fold return among your dwindling supporters.

Of course with the safe content of your flag ship cast like 'Liberal White Bias' featuring a former president as the accompanying photo and a news show called 'the Minority Report' featuring the flag of Israel in the Washington DC area is a no brainier to let you and your various delinquent friends eat, drink, disturb others and leave a $1000 tab in hopes of reaching a stable returning customer base.

I think (as of last show) he's back to being Dodge Dart Dukes. The giant-ass truck is more in line with Redneck Dukes though. Pontiac Solstice Dukes (I think this is what he had in AZ? That is not very hillbilly) -> Dodge Charger Dukes -> Ford Fiesta Dukes -> Doge Dart Dukes

I know the proprietors of the Q Company in Leesburg. They are a small one couple operation and are not the kind of people to tell folks to fuck off, but they also don't have the need to give a fat freeloading asshole and his merry band of limp dick misfits a freebie. There food stands on its own. Chad is twat.

It's a fine plan, except it's fucking Purcellville. I live in FAIRFAX county. I don't even know what county Purcellville is in. And hotdogs are terrible. I guess Dukes is trying to increase his rectum intake in a non-obvious way. Dude rectum, pig rectum, it's all butthole.

Some other radio guy tweeted from the restaurant today, and Chad repeated his "they told me to fuck off" bit. The guy (some PD from another network?) was very much "Uhh, these guys are great, they've supported me and my events." Maybe legitimate events and "We're a bunch of middle aged dudes who like to play pretend that we're swinging dicks and be asses in a restaurant, alienating any normal customer in the area." aren't quite the same.

Wow this unexpectedly hit home. Two people trying to serve up something good in a tough market, where does that sound familiar. Chad Dukes you really are an asshole deep down, the fact you can't recognize that your mess of an podcast and a now default website has to have something concrete to offer potential sponsors show's how removed you are from reality. You've said time and time again about the shit you buy while drunk and on a whim how about use that money and actually build something with the company owners then talk about a deal.

No disrespect to Haute Dogs and Fries but the place is located in a strip mall that's 36 miles one way from 10800 Main street (the old WJFK radio station in Fairfax VA).

Someone coming from the Dc the Surrounding area or Suburban Maryland can expect a 100 mile round trip for hot dogs and Chad Dukes. Easy sell right.
