York is 5-1, they played 1 playff team(Mt. Vernon) and lost. They suck and heave played no one. I guess the QB is OK but who has he gone against?

QB is decent, but the record is a product of the schedule. Yorktown will get waxed in either the first or second round of the playoffs.

They have D1 Power 5 conference payers all over on both sides of the ball. Is Coach G that bad of a coach? When and how much longer will AD Jason Eldredge keep letting this go on? I know there was a movement to oust him right before the season started, sure the community is rethinking their efforts to keep him. How do you lose to a winless team? They were 0-5 for Pete’s sake! Maybe he should focus more on game film and preparing his team instead of visiting colleges all the time (but then again maybe it’s hard to resist the bag of $$$ he gets by steering his recruits to the highest bidder).

I’m tired of “Ball Coach’s” antics. He puts on this rough & tough attitude but he none of opposing players care or pay attention to that. We need someone. That can game-plan and instill discipline in the field which starts with attention to detail at practice and that means for every kid on the team holding them accountable and not giving a pass to your so called “star” players. I wouldn’t mind seeing a change. Let’s see what Eldredge can do with this talented squad.

There is parking immediately adjacent to the field but the lot is small and is usually full well before game time; more parking in front of the school. If you get there late(r), even before the game starts, expect to park on the street (Flint Hill Drive).

I repeat myself but Chantilly is not an elite team and they were pretty much dominated by Madison tonight. They will beat Oakton and have a better than even chance against Centreville. Hard to imagine a way they could beat Westfield.

That's a nice win for Mount Vernon and it would be wrong to point out that Centreville is having a very down year in an attempt to lessen the significance of that win. But I guess I just did. Centreville losing to TC Williams and Mount Vernon does not bode well for them in the coming weeks. Not saying they will but they could lose all three of their remaining games to finish 4-6. It's possible. Very disappointing.
