Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
If you dined in ffx city, it wasn't free; you paid the city tax on your meal. In addition, you took your life into your hands walking from the parking lot with drunk drivers like Gerry Connolly speeding alongside or on the narrow sidewalk.
The servers/bartenders in many of the restaurants located in Fairfax City will call the City Police and turn you in as a drunk driver if you don't leave a large enough tip.
Is there an uglier small town in the USA than Fairfax City? 1960's office buildings, torn down strip malls, bail bonds, countless banks, narrow, crowded streets, high meals tax, and libtard voters who elected a drug-addict pedo mayor - what a shithole!
They can afford free parking because of all the ticket revenue they make from pulling over people doing 26 in a 25 and locking people up for DUI's blowing a 0.02 (literally one beer) all day.
Last I heard it's upward of $3k to get out of a DUI charge- and that is just with fines and fees, I have not even spoken of the lawyer.
I will never spend any money again in Fairfax City. I didn't get the DUI, my son did and I am still PISSED at it.

I'm a big tipper, having waited tables during college, so I'm not worried, but I doubt that's true. Bad tippers are still better than no customers, which is what you would end up with if you engaged in that kind of behavior.
There's a reason why almost no retail business can survive in Fairfax City. Green Turtle is out. Pacer's just moved. When they opened up Silver Diner at first at the new development, it SUCKED. SD had a different menu. When I go to SD, I want Chicken Fried Steak, Gravy, Hash Browns, side of Pancakes. Their menu had a bunch a fuckin salads. I'm not a fuckin rabbit.

Unless you get hit by a drunk driver like Gerry Connolly.

That's because your son is an idiot. Since you said he blew a 0.02 let me tell you what likely happened from an attorneys perspective. He likely admitted to have drinking, consented to the field sobriety tests, did poorly on aforementioned tests and reafused PBT. At this point instead of blowing into the machine to prove his innocence he refused and subsequently arrested. He was then given an official breath test to which he blew a 0.02 Assuming this wasn't drug related had he blown into the pbt he would have been good to go.

Or, we could all just stay away from Fairfax City and not have this problem.
