Midway ride accident. Hungover shade tree mechanics slap these thing together and tear them down in hundred-degree heat. It's amazing they work as well as they do.

They do. Went on a ferris wheel with my kids at Viva Vienna. Holy shit ... the "door" to close the carriage barely closed and if a kid even slightly slipped toward that door they would have fallen straight out.
Fucking thing must have come straight from Tijuana.
They had other rides like this one in the video, all operated by a bunch of Mexicans who could barely speak spanish let alone english.
I can guarantee you the guys operating this thing ran away back to Juarez or wherever they fuck they were from a split second after they saw it crash.
