https://t.co/2JFpYoIOt9 https://t.co/rfcR2Jdm5VPolice are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who allegedly stole a purse containing a large sum of cash from a Dunkin’ Donuts store, at 6138 Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church. The victim, a 51-year-old woman, and her 18-year-old daughter were in the store on Sunday, January 10 around 11:50 a.m. They stopped there for breakfast before heading off to the daughter’s university out of state.
Shortly after leaving, the victim realized she left her purse on the back of a chair. When they returned to the store, the purse was missing. The purse contained cash intended for the daughter’s college tuition. Store video showed a woman, who was inside the store, remove the purse from the chair. She left the business and got into a dark-colored SUV.
The suspect was described as white, between 30 and 40 years old and about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build. She had long, brown hair and wore a light-colored jacket and dark-colored pants. The vehicle is believed to be a 2009 to 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor. (In the photo below, the sign is on the door, not the vehicle.)
