If FCPS are so good, why do we have to medicate so many students just so they can make it through the school day?

Academically, FCPS is one of the top counties. However, the happiness and mental wellbeing of the students are the cost for such academic achievement.

I'm in a unique situation that some of the kids I teach during the year, I then teach at a summer camp. They tend to be on meds during the school year and then some parents take them off during the summer for a break - especially with ADD or ADHD. Off the meds, a perfectly complacent child becomes an absolute fucktard.

I say that jokingly....sort of.

Health care in the goober states is so bad that kids don't get the medical care they need. That's not good. Look at how you worthless asswipes turned out as an illustration...

^Translation: In the goober states the kids get to run around as nature intended them to do. Here they get medicated so they can sit still. Some are medicated so they can get higher GPAs.
