Hey guys. I know you high-schoolers have been doing a lot of searching on that arrest list thing, Cary told me so. Anyway have you found any of your teachers on the list? If so post it here so everyone can get a good laugh. Maybe something like teachers name, position, and school name. Like I think I found Centreville High School's principal!

I guess he should have disengaged the saucer section rather than try to turn the car around.
But I'll bet he did it at braddock and 28... the cops just sit there waiting for the people who took the wrong exit off 66 that try to u-turn there to get back on.

Fairfax County police news release, although rstidman's washpost article is much more informative:
A 43-year-old Burke area man was arrested for production of child pornography. On Saturday, September 25, around 6:00 p.m., police were called to the Oak Marr Recreation Center, located at 3200 Jermantown Road in the Oakton area, to investigate reports of a suspicious person. Police officers encountered a man with a video camera in the men’s locker room of the facility. Investigation revealed the man was secretly video taping juveniles in various stages of undress. Further investigation led to the issuance and execution of a search warrant at the man’s residence, and detectives seized various tapes and DVD’s, as well as video equipment.
Richard E. Crane, Jr., of 9643 Westport Lane, was arrested and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with production of child pornography, a felony offense, and held without bond. Crane is a teacher at Langston Hughes Middle School. Investigation is continuing and further charges are possible.

don't be so naive to think we are ruining his life. after all he is the one who REPEATEDLY flocked to child porn. as for his obsession, he should have gotten his ass into psychological counseling. alternatively, there are guns, bridges, tall buildings, poisons, high speed traffic, etc to help him. guns have the highest success rate.

Surely wouldn't want the guy to be teaching my daughter although he does prefer the little boys. "Funny" thing is, he appears in the photo to be relatively normal enough. Maybe that's the scary part.
