While the number of flat screen TVs is impressive--feel like I'm in Best Buy or Circuit City--the people who run the place could be nicer. Good place to watch World Cup because no matter where you sit, you generally have great views of no less than 5 TVs
Summers is a somewhat famous establishment known to show a wide variety of soccer matches. When I'm in town this is usually my go to place to catch English Premier League matches, even the early 0730 EST kickoffs in England. The staff are quite flexible in showing multiple matches simultaneously, and I'm sure the place will be quite active during the World Cup.

Summers is fine for ANY futbol match EXCEPT World Cup matches. Their kitchen facilities are simply not equipped to handle the demand of a packed restaurant during the World Cup. Customers get pissed at waitstaff, waitstaff gets pissed at the brown, savage, illegal mud-people working in the kitchen, and the management is pissed at all the staff. So, you get undercooked, rushed food served by angry waiters who were pissed off before you even walked in the door. They also don't have enough refrigeration storage so after the first World Cup match of the day there's no more cold beer either.
Again, it's a fine place ANY OTHER time but the World Cup.

Members of the Official U.S. Soccer Bar Program receive recognition on

I have been there I believe twice. The last time was for a big EPL match a couple of years ago. Parking was horrible there like most of Arlington so I wouldn't recommend driving there. There was only one booth left when we got there and it was in the corner with NO good view. The food was forgettable and the view of the game horrible.
Here is my honest opinion. Due to their strong advertising as a soccer bar they are likely to be overcrowded as fuck, especially during big or US games. There are plenty of non-soccer bars with big screens that you can go to in this area and get a good seat, good view and reasonable service.

My commute is 45 minutes fucknutz and I work 9 to 5. There are 5 bars within 5 minutes drive from work and it is a great time to go get lunch and watch the game.
