There are reports that Jeff Davey, the CYA Football Commissioner,caused a scene at the Fox Mill Glory Days on Saturday night. He got drunk with several of his coaching buddies, and had to be escorted out by Glory Days employees. He could barely walk, and as he stepped off the curb outside lf the restaurant, he then proceeded to fall down in the parking lot, and had to be assisted to his car (he was not driving, thankfully).

Anyone hear about this? I've heard stories before about public drunkeness, but this takes the cake. Is he really still coaching children?

Jeff Davey,the CYA football Commissioner is a public drunk. Anyone who has kids in the CYA football system has known this for years. Sad.

So what? You can't go out and get loaded if you run a youth football league? I don't see how the two are connected.

Wow I was there that night and I didn't see any of this going on I saw A coach at his team party enjoying and celebrating with the team that he coached to not only an undefeated season winning the Fairfax county championship BUT the National Championship as well. I understand that the person that started this thread is a bitter individual but this is a fucking joke. You sit behind the screen ranting about what you think is going on and how you think you can just bad mouth a person that has done more for the community than you will EVER know. If you went up to every kid that Mr. Davey has coached and asked what they thought of him I would bet that just about every one of them would tell you a story about how great of a coach he was or that he and his coaching staff made them a better football player. To answer the question " Is he really still coaching children?" YES he is and he is also helping children and developing them into football players of tomorrow. National Championship played right here in Fairfax County!!!! Who Knew? I know I'm impressed.

As long as he's not drunk in front of the kids, while he's doing his job, or driving, then there is no issue here.
