WNEW 99.1 vs WTOP 103.5? Just Copies?

I was listening to WNEW and it just sounds like a complete repeat of WTOP. WNEW does update it's news story with new interviews and modify the stories as the day goes on. I like that.

WTOP seems to just repeat old news stories exactly the same way again.

I might be switching to WNEW? Thoughts?

I listen to 99.1 all day now. Most significant difference is that 99.1 has more news, at a faster cadence, than WTOP. It's closer to my favorite station... 880 AM WCBS NY.

One exception... I still change away from 99.1 when Lisa Baden come on in the morning. I want just the traffic report, not someone who is trying to be my friend in a one way conversation. I already have a wife filling that role.

WTOP annoyed me when they went to a style that trys to hint at the news without telling it to you until ten minutes later. That's what caused me to look for other stations.

I don't listen to WTOP...I'd rather not get my news from a station started by the Ku Klux Klan...
