It without a doubt saved lives, just think how hard it was to take Iwo Jima and then mmultiply that by probably 1000 for the mainland.

We without a doubt sped it up, eventually it would have gone down or could have done what China is doing now implementing forms of capitalism to keep going.

Couldnt disagree more. First its not comparable because theyre no where close to our size, the larger something gets quality will decline in parts. All you can do is take the best vs the best when it comes to two drastically different places. As a whole our system is VERY good, theres definitely a lot of places for improvement but if you need treatment you want to be in the US. That said it doesnt mean every doctor and hospital is great, but every area has great doctors and an option for the great hopsital it just might not be right next door.

Thats the same argument for the middle east, yes at one point they were leaders but the time has passed. That doesnt mean they do nothing now but by no means have they been the pride of the world for the last 100 years or so.
Greece and Spain are a result of the idealology that has over taken Europe as a whole now a days. Without a correction theyre going to be mediocre with beautiful scenary for quite some time.

Its all realitive we arent great compared to the past, but were still great compared to the rest of the world. No one has passed us other than in cheap labor. Were just watered down now from our massive size but still make numorous comtributions to the world and have the best standard of living. Our poor would be considered rich in most of the world.
Theres still a lot of people that have that old mentallity of not babying things ect, the problem is theres now a lot that dont have it. What happens going forward who knows, it doesnt look great right now. There will come a day we fall as the greatest but that day isnt today.

The blame whitey crap is whats driving racism now. The Sharptons and Jacksons have made a fortune off of race baiting and pinning people against each other. If you want race to not be an issue stop making it one. Equal also means equal not special treatment and privledges, minorities are also just as racist as anyone else but that doesnt fit the media agenda to talk about.
Completely agree being gay is the same. If you want to be gay be gay, dont expect special treatment from it and act like youre a hero for being gay. Be normal and keep that to yourself like everyone else respectable does about their sex life.
