Other than pacing in an unmarked...can be SUVs and pick-ups.

Usually empty cop car in median between Frontier and I-95
Usually empty cop car in median between Spring Village/Bonniemill and Rolling
Trap at Hooes at top of hill
Trap under Pohick overpass
Trap just past 123 (cop sits on exit ramp to northbound 286)
Trap at Braddock
Trap just before 66 overpass (side exit for VDOT trucks just after I-66 East exit)

That's as far as I go on 286 every day.

Almost always within 1/2 mile of any speed measuring sign. If they get you there, you deserve the ticket.
