Do any suburban public pools have a lot of hot women? I figure if I went to the pool to try and look at women, I'd get there and it would all be parents with kids, and a few teenage girls.

Umm the clamps are needed for what? To keep the water from pulling the tarp farther down in the pickup bed? To keep the tarp in the bed at 80 mph? Expecting hurricane winds?

Based on their position, I think the c-clamps are to hold up the tailgate. I imagine if you pull the tarp tight enough, it might work (or maybe there is bailing wire underneath).
