I think it is pretty much a given it will bomb. The only one that was successful was the first Wayne's World (and maybe the Blues Brothers, though as I recall Belushi and Aykroyd started that as a side projected not originally associated with SNL). I don't get how a skit like Magruber could get turned into a movie. The whole point of the skit is that he is an eternal fuck-up that ends up getting everybody killed at the end. How do you take that from an acceptable 2 minute run-time and stretch it to a mind-numbing 90+ minutes? There was a TV Fun House skit on SNL about this concept. "Life of a Catch Phrase" episode 42 aired May 6, 2000. Summary: Too much of a good thing is bad. And Val Kilmer? What the fuck? He must be hurting for work.

I saw her in NYC going into rehearsals and she doesn't look anything like that last picture.
Unfortunately, all of the skits she has anything to do with drag out for an eternity.
