Strangely enough, I didn't know there was any gay republican jargon for that phrase - not being around any gay republicans probably has something to do with that. You know how non-inclusive we republicans are - gays aren't allowed right?
Either way - I doubt that is exclusive to any particular class of person, gay or otherwise. I have never heard the expression before today. It was just funny to see you going on about it and noting you had "googled" the term - past history and all that...
