The "nonviolence," "decentralization," and "community-based economy" planks are not at all supported by the Democratic Party, and the other planks have different levels of application and different shades of nuance.
Even if it was "only" those three planks that were different, though, that represents a huge gulf between the Greens and the Dems. The Greens support decentralized, community-based, pacifistic culture in small, local units - like an America made up of a bunch of Quaker farming enclaves. The Dems, obviously, are pro-military action, in favor of the existence of a strong federal government, and favor a national economy.
That's a massive difference, akin to the difference between the neocon hawks of the Bush years - who created two wars and an entirely new Executive Department - and the Cruz-style, near-anarchic anti-government wing of the Tea Party. However, the Greens are not taken seriously by the Dems. The Tea Party have the GOP by the short hairs.
