Here is the other end of the spectrum. This is supposedly an hourly employee. Doesn't even look like a correct contract. $100, in three quarterly payments. This contract is designed for people taking on coaching jobs, yearbook sponsor, music teacher, etc., which get a salary supplement specifically stipulated by the School Board due to the extra duties they have. This employee helps out a Band director at West Potomac HS. Her salary is supposedly paid by a Booster club. Unless she makes over $10,000 a year, detailed pay records don't have to be made available. Interesting arrangement. I would think there would be some type of contract specifically for hourly employees.
They originally didn't want to release this. Said it was exempt from disclosure. Really bad move there. D-E-N-I-A-L. Then they said this person "didn't have a contract", in spite of having an FCPS email account. A lawyer told a lawyer that, no less. Did the person who said this wonder how this employee could get an FCPS email account and be allowed to deal with student records without a contract of some type? I sure did.
Then, this contract arrived. The contract that "didn't exist". What?
All employment contracts are open record unless there is some type of contract dispute.
Want anybody else's? Easy to do.
