LOL I'll trust you that you may have served some and hated that shit, but I also trust you've never died either.
Or in the condemned's case, faced death, had a set execution date etc. I can't imagine anything more stressful than waiting for that appeal or that stay of execution or lawyer phone call.
Doubt it's very easy to sleep...

Humans are pretty adaptive. If he isn't on death row, he will be in general population eventually- working at the chow hall etc, playing softball- he may even get his hands on booze, weed and other goodies.
I'm usually against the death penalty because there have been enough irreversible mistakes that I don't trust the government to take a life. But if you show me compelling evidence this guy is a serial predator/killer- nuke his savage ass.
