Chubbybeagle,

Pretty much any knowledgeable high school basketball fan had those 4 you listed for 6A as they were by far and away the top 4 in the region. The only debate was would Battlefield slip in?

Westfield took Battlfield to OT in round one 76-70, great game!! Battlefield had some very solid Seniors lead by Blondin. Westfield started 5 Juniors all year and only had 1 senior on the roster and should be a team to watch in 2015. I still feel Herndon will win the Region and be a tough out in the State Tourney.

Well if Herndon wins the region they're in the state championship. It's just the North versus the South in both 5A and 6A.

Agreed Westfield is the team to beat next year, but there best player and first team all district player is a sophomore starting with 4 juniors.

So where have you been posting on this site 6A? At least offer some insight in January and February and don't be a "johnny come lately" saying you knew it the whole time.

BTW, BOTH teams that get into Saturday night's game play in state semifinals. Winning the region doesn't put you into state championship. Seed 1 from North plays Seed 2 from South and vice versa at a Superregional site as listed on the VHSL website.

There was nothing to talk about in January and February. Everyone knew Herndon, Robinson, Lake Braddock, and Woodson were the favorites; who else would you have in the convo that could compete with those 4?

At the time it was wide open amongst the 4, but with the Herndon transfer it's very doubtful Herndon will lose now.

Wrong chubbybeagle -

Wining the region DOES put you in Championship Game.

State Quarter Finals tonight. State Semi's tomorrow, followed next by State Final.

You tried. You were just wrong.

Not hardly...sorry you are a complete idiot. Whoever wins tonights LB-Woodson game will be the #1 seed and play Landstown the South's #2 seed. Whoever loses tonight will play Colonial Forge the #1 seed and winner of their regional tournament. Both of those games are next Friday.

The two winners then play for State Championship the following week. Know what you are talking about before you pop off jackass.
