We know these things because more successful podcasters actually tell us what they are and aren't making from their podcasts. Anything you say to the contrary has to be taken with a grain of salt.

I don't need proof. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that an unemployed guy who spends all his time at home would have time to browse this forum.

I have no doubt you are generating a "modest income." The problem is, the level of income is going back into your operating costs. You are not PROFITABLE. You are not paying people enough to live on. If you have seen the calculations on here, I have shown how you guys have basically been working for minimum wage since December. Do you dispute that?

If you read my post about this, I am saying that your bandwidth costs will continue to rise with your listenership. You have no economies of scale to work with. It will never be cost effective for you to run this show.

As opposed to living room dwellers and failed bar owners like yourself. Seriously, Mike, do you even read what you write?
As for the "keeping us afloat in hard times," I have news for you, Mike. It isn't "hard times" that are to blame. Broadcasting has changed. You aren't going to get a big payday in this business again...ever. The podcasting is a sad, sad experiment in denial. You need to consider the advice here and find something, anything in radio that will help pay the bills. Big contracts from Infinity are a thing of the past.
