So, I robbed a gas station

I robbed a gas station a month ago and just finished my court appearance.

The judge said I need to give the money back. I asked him why.

He said I gained the money while committing a crime. I thought that was an interesting point he made.

I told the judge that gain while committing a crime happens when people enter the US illegally and have a baby. The baby is declared a US citizen as a result of the mom having committed a crime by breaking Federal immigration law.

The judge then said all my charges are dropped and I can keep the money.
