Not so sure just how awful things might be over in Scumville this morning, but here in the Sweet Spot, it’s cloudy with temps in the mid 50s. Probably going to see a few showers here shortly, but all that should clear out by supper time. We’ll do dinner with friends in DC this evening, and the weather should be fine for that.

Well, greetings once again this morning from the gorgeous Sweet Spot home that the wife and I have owned and so much enjoyed living in for more than 40 years now. It was already 'the big house on the hill' when we became its second owners, and the series of expansion, renovation, and landscaping projects that our lofty incomes have made possible in the years since have only made it an even more impressive place.
