God forbid they do something like, I don't know, feature Bonus Show highlights on the podcast in the weeks leading up to the big Anniversary show they want people to shell out for. I will say: the Bonus Show which is just Spewak messing with telemarketers (would've been around 2011, IIRC) is worth the...uh...how much are the bonus shows, anyway? I don't at all remember. I think the first Stat

I only watched the half hour or so of the show that showed up on UStream this morning, but an apparently genuinely curious caller did ask the boys about the departure of Buzz. Mike replied, with something resembling candor, that it was a painful breakup, but that both Buzz and Marc had dropped him a note when his mom passed away. No specifics offered re: why the breakup was "painful." Mike kind

Also may I say I'm loving this fucking FFXU board lag issue, where it periodically declines to update for between 24 and 48 hours. All the other idiot "Off Topic" threads get updated-- and if you haven't gone spelunking in those gems to put this idiot thread in perspective, please, have a look, it'll reset your worldview re: how irrelevant this dumb thread about a dumb podcast is-- but this idiot

Dear Lord, is Certa still around even? I remember when Marc Ronick did, like, a periodic debriefing show with the interns, that was kinda charming. Marc's always been kinda awkward on the mic, but Jabarie was a little smoother, and Girl 1.0 was kinda cute, and Zoolander was kind of douchey in an Oscar-wannabe way...then they scrubbed it for Certa, who was...I mean...ya wanted to make sure that

In fairness, my Wide Open Wednesday call wasn't exactly flawless. They did catch me by surprise by answering the phone, and, just like every goddamn radio caller rube, it took me a sec to realize I was hearing them on the phone, not their delayed banter on UStream. And I hadn't even thought what to say when they asked my name. That said, the question I asked (whether they'd have a link to the F

I wasn't going to listen to today's show-- if you've heard one Mike insurance rant, you've kinda heard 'em all-- but Peek's summary piqued (ha!) my interest. And ya know what? Carla arguably trying to kill Mike in the car was kinda funny. Yeah, Ashley the intern's cackling is kind of intrusive, but again, I think Mike kinda turns in a better performance when he has an audience. It might also be

Okay. She's the only "Ashley" on Mac the Intern's friends list, she studies at American, and she's also friends with Robb. Also belongs to "The TMOS Elite Whiskey Society" group. I say it's her.

There is no excuse for there not being a photo of Intern Ashley in this thread. Mike thinks we can somehow access his criminal record, when we can't even figure out if Girl 2.0 is hot or not.

Apropos of nothing, does anybody remember the bit on Don and Mike where Robb dials into a sex line for Thanksgiving-themed phone sex? "Chop that celery, chop chop chop!" God, that was funny. (Actually funny, not accidentally funny, like most of the funny things on TMOS.) Like, I remember listening to that in my car and laughing so hard I almost cried.

Listening with horror to Friday's show. Like, the Butterball Hotline keeping the boys on hold...eh, not bad. The boys forced to kill time, kinda funny. Then, when the chick gets on the line...like, Mike's voice was embarrassingly bad. Like, sixth grader making a prank call bad. Just...ow. Bit almost redeemed by Mike snapping "F YOU, LADY" when she busted him.

TMOS LISTENER OF THE DAY IS... ...so, let's parse this question: "What don't I love that you do?" For some reason, the phrasing of this is so awkward. It'd be one thing to say, "But what do you do that I DON'T love?" I.e., Amy loves everything Mike does. This syntax, however, requires us to postulate things Amy might not love, but which Mike might possibly do. I mean, I guess they're the s

AND THE TMOS LISTENER OF THE DAY IS: ...that's a hell of a blank check you're offering the boys, there, Tommy. Also, the "wink" emoticon after "long time listener": what are we being coy about, Tommy? Are you actually NOT a long time listener? Is "long time listener," like, code for something? Also, next time you should put the quotes around "political views" as well as "bring the funny."
