Ha, moving lawns. I don't know if it was "the pits" but I remember watching people ride dirt bikes at that landfill on loisdale. I also remember mudding in the woods where the retirement home off of the parkway is now and also where the Lorton Station neighborhood is. Good times. BB gun fights at Big Rock were fun to see unless you got caught in the crossfire.

As Cary said, I kept mine on my car for when I go to Burke Lake. If you don't have one, they can look at your driver's license, but with the old green sticker you just get waved through. I have an expired PW county one on my motorcycle though, which I guess I'll probably remove after reading this.

Thanks duh, I didn't realize Annandale Hardware had it, well maybe not now. I'll probably just go to Clifton. I just need to fill up a 2 gallon tank to use to clean a chain once in a while. It's just proving to be a pain in the ass when the one place that always has it suddenly does not. There's a Sheetz in Woodbridge off PW Parkway IIRC. I was just down there a couple of weeks ago in Sharps, VA and there was no cable tv service much less internet. What was surprising, however, was that my sprint phone got 4 bars and EVDO coverage down there. This was right on the water, about 15 miles west of Edwardsville so I dont know if you'll have the same luck, but it's something to consider.

From what I've heard, they don't treat their students too well. Parking is a bitch and the place is just generally overcrowded. They have crazy requirements for registration and prereqs and your major determines what classes you can get into. You have to apply to be accepted to most majors as well. Aside from that, Harrisonburg is a nice enough little town with the regular college town atmosp
