That's an awful thing to say. He was gambling, that is all. That doesn't deserve the death penalty. He was cooperating with the cops handling the arrest. He didn't deserve to die.

Gambler - sucks, but he wasn't a saint?????
And that deserves a death penalty??? He was cooperating with the arresting officers and had absolutely no weapons. He was GAMBLING, for christ's sake. That officer should have given up his badge and should never be a cop again.
